Months After The New York Times Attacked Her, Sarah Palin CRUSHES Them Once and For All

The New York Times is attempting to defend itself in a lawsuit from Sarah Palin, but they’re not doing a very good job.

As reported in the New York Post, the lawyer for the New York Times told a Manhattan federal judge on Friday simply that “There was an honest mistake in posting the editorial.”

Palin sued the newspaper last month over an editorial claiming that one of Palin’s PAC ads, which featured crosshairs over some Democrat districts, inspired the attempted assassination of Congresswomen Gabby Giffords in 2011.

These accusations were rife in after the shooting, even being repeated by people like future mock-beheader Kathy Griffin:

but no link was ever actually established, and there is no evidence Loughner even saw the ad.

It’s laughable that the Time’s is claiming their editorial was just an “honest mistake” when this controversy has been debunked long ago and could have been righted with 3 minutes of research.

Palin’s lawyers said as much, arguing that the Times knew the Palin-shooting link was false before it went to print, saying:

“It was literally acknowledged the same day in another story in their paper.”

The lawsuit is ongoing, but so far it’s great to see the media taken to task. Of course they’ll never report it though- that’s why we’re asking you to share this 20,000 times if you support Sarah Palin’s fight against fake news!
