Robert Mueller is now taking heat, finally. According to the Washington Examiner, Rod Rosenstein said that Robert Mueller will need to seek permission from him to look into any crime outside of the scope of Russian interference.
“Bob Mueller understands and I understand the specific scope of the investigation, and so no, it’s not a fishing expedition,” he told host Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday.”

Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller to the Russia probe back in May after Trump fired James Comey. Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the case. Rosenstein says that people shouldn’t worry about the fact that Mueller is investigating Trump’s financials.
According to the Washington Examiner, Rosenstein confirmed that the investigation is subject to the rules and regulations set forth by the Justice Department.
