Clarence Thomas Just Stared Into The Camera And Said Two Words That Made Every Leftist Hang Their Heads In Shame

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas gave a rare interview on Wednesday for “The Ingraham Angle” on Fox News.

Thomas is a dependable constitutional conservative on the bench, nominated by George H. W. Bush in 1991.

Ingraham asked Thomas about his feelings on some of the recent racially charged controversies in the U.S., starting with Thomas’ exclusion from the Smithsonian’s new African American History Museum.

Some critics claim that Thomas was excluded for his conservative leanings on the court. Ingraham asked if his exclusion made him upset. While he replied in the negative, he said that society, in general, is being more closed off to diverse ideas:

“Not really, I mean, people who cared about me did, but no, not really. I grew up in a time where I was exposed to a wonderful range of ideas…and we’re getting quite comfortable in our society limiting ideas and exposure to ideas. And maybe [his exclusion from the museum] is a symptom of it I don’t know, but I don’t think it’s good for the next generation and people who will be learning.”

Ingraham went on to ask how he felt about Confederate statues being taken down across the U.S. Thomas gave a wonderful defense of the statues, saying:

“I think that today we seem to think that everything has to be one size fits all and people can’t have opinions that make us uncomfortable, or ideas that make us uncomfortable- that we don’t agree with.”

Check out the full interview here- Clarence Thomas has giving very few interviews in his 26 year career on the court- so this is definitely one to watch!

Clarence Thomas is an incredible individual who overcame so much to become one of the most powerful people in American government. It is too bad the left claims to celebrate accomplished men and women of color until they say something they don’t agree with.

SHARE it out if you’re tired of leftist hypocrisy and double standards!

    • never ever thought I would hear a Supreme Court Judge say what Clarence Thomas said, so much integrity and honesty that should strip other Judges from your seats of embarrassment that they can’t be like him with sensible knowledge that he threw out to the people…to bad the court system don’t have more like him

      • The Court DOES have more like him. There’s Justice Sam Alito, appointed by George W. Bush, and now Justice Neil Gorsuch, President Trump’s first Court appointment. And of course there was Justice Antonin Scalia, whose death created the vacancy that Gorsuch has filled.

Whatever you (we) may think of the two Presidents Bush, they DID give us MUCH better justices than we’d had in decades. When you look at a court on which Chief Justice Roberts is the SWING vote (the “moderate”) compared to having, oh, say, seven liberals and two “moderates” (really just less liberal), the Bush-Bush-Trump Court is a BIG improvement.
Oh, and give a little vote of grudging thanks to Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell for sidelining Obama’s last Court nominee and holding the Scalia seat open until President Trump got a chance to name HIS choice.

Given that three sitting justices are 80 or over, and another two in their seventies, President Trump is likely to have a chance to appoint 1-3 MORE justices to the Supreme Court. Given his record with the legal “second string” (the Courts of Appeals), there’s every reason to expect more like Gorsuch or even Scalia.

  1. Justice Clarence Thomas is truly one of the greatest black men in U.S. history. It is too bad that the Leftists (both black and white) will never acknowledge that. He would have been a POTUS head-and-shoulders better than Barry Soetoro ever was. Clarence Thomas truly gives the black race a sterling name. I love this man. He truly is a great, patriotic American hero.

  2. Great interview Justice Clarence Thomas, Well likes & well respected!! If a man could be called lovely! It would be Justice Thomas!!

  3. Justice Clarence Thomas is a stellar human being. He is NOT bogged down with the leftist claptrap we have come to expect from so many. In short, Justice Thomas is a true Patriot of the highest order!

  4. It is a pleasure to listen to a man who thinks the way Justice Clarence Thomas does. He is dignified, respected and soft-spoken in a way we don’t see that often anymore. Growing up I encountered black men very much like Justice Thomas in everyday life. Black men who were polite, kind, generous and had profound things to say to all especially young people. Men like Justice Thomas’ grandfather.

  5. I think Clarence Thomas was spit in the face when he was not included in the African American History at the Smithsonian. Who had the right to do that? African Americans choose who go in THEIR museum? Not by accomplishments but by party. I guess they will put maxine mouthy waters in their too who has the IQ of a snail? Disgusting

  6. One of the greatest interviews I have ever seen or heard. What a wonderful intelligent man. He should have run for President instead of Obama. No racism here. I wish all people black & white were like him. What a great country we would have.

  7. Sexual abuser, Uncle Tom (Thomas) is the dis-honorable Clarence Thomas, a traitor and a disgrace not only to his own race, but he is incapable of making a decision on his own, rarely says anything, presumably for the reason Abe Lincoln voiced as the reason stupid people should say nothing, which at least leaves some doubt as to their intelligence, or lack thereof. The emptiest suit ever on our SCOTUS, and put there for exactly that reason.

  8. I remember the terrible thins said about Judge Thomas by the left ,when he was awaiting approval.I am thankful these accusations did not prevail and he was nominated.Thank you Judge Thomas for serving your country and its laws honorably.

  9. It’s a sad crying shame that “JUSTICE CLARENCE THOMAS” was excluded from the African-American museum ! He had just as much right to be there as any other African-American ! Just goes to show you that there
isn’t equality for all concerned when they can do what they did to him!
