Vice President Mike Pence showed up to LucasOil Field in Indianapolis yesterday to watch his hometown Colts take on the San Francisco 49ers.

Multiple 49ers players decided to kneel for the national anthem. Pence wasn’t pleased.

The man “one heartbeat away from the presidency” decided to leave the game after the disrespectful protest, tweeting later that he won’t support that sort of nonsense in any fashion.

After the game, safety Eric Reid, one of the first NFL players to kneel along with Colin Kaepernick last season, told the press that Pence’s actions were ‘systemic oppression.’

What? Did he seriously just say that?

Reid: “My honest reaction … Does anybody know the last time he’s been to a football game? With that being said, he tweeted out a three-year-old photo of him at a Colts game so with the information I have the last time he was at a Colts game was three years ago. So this looks like a PR stunt to me. He knew our team has had the most players protest. He knew that we were probably going to do it again. This is what systemic oppression looks like. A man with power comes to the game, tweets a couple of things out and leaves the game with an attempt to thwart our efforts. Based on the information I have, that’s the assumption I’ve made.”

Reid clearly doesn’t understand that kneeling for the national anthem does absolutely nothing but tick off those of us in this country who love America.

Neither Reid, Kaepernick nor any athlete across any sport who has knelt during The Star Spangled Banner has accomplished a dang thing. These phonies just look silly, especially considering most of them don’t even know why they’re kneeling other than to spite President Trump.

If this childish statement by a spoiled NFL millionaire (who doesn’t know what he’s talking about) makes you furious, comment YES! Let VP Mike Pence know you STAND WITH HIM AND AMERICA and always will!

    • He is stupid and the only thing going for him is he plays football. Penalize him for making a comment ilke that about the Vice President. He has the right to leave if he so desires. This idiot kneeling is against the rules of the NFL, so penalize him for that aflso. Penalize him financially.

  1. This Reid dude along with the rest of the ‘kneelers’ are obviously from a generation that done only what “feels good”. I do not think they understand who they are insulting or why. I am disappointed that anyone shows up for a “game”. Mr pence makes me proud!

  2. “…thwarting our efforts…” What a telling statement! Leads one to ask “what are you working so diligently for?” Your motives have been sketchy at best! BLM,Panthers rule,Black supremacy,an attempt to bring America down,an attempt to control your fans to think as you do…or perhaps just “following the money” as Hillary said during her campaign? In your arduous “efforts” you forgot that even the most engaged fans are real Americans, many who have first hand experience of the great importance of our flag and anthem of our national pride and what it cost to retain them! You chose to be football players, you signed up to receive millions of dollars to play games and provide us with a past time … your “efforts” break the purposes of your contracts and alienated more than half of America who don’t want socialistic control by the subversive of our National pride and our elected Commandee-in-chief…you sow your efforts to the wind and you will reap the whirlwind! ❤️️

  3. Yes I stand for our Flag, our Country and our President Trump and Vice President Pence! If you don’t like the treatment that could have happened or didn’t happened to your family just leave, you shouldn’t have any way to make money in this great country of ours! Most of you that are kneeling don’t even know why you’re doing it! Stand up or get out!

    • There taking a knee about cops killing unarmed black men and a kid. The flag and Anthem are not the subjects. Please don’t forget that third stance of the Anthem. Very racist.

  4. I do not care if the Vice President did this on purpose or not. What I do care about. Is that he took the time to physically go and show America. How he feels about these so called protest.

  5. I cannot think of anything to say. It has all been said! I di not think they are evolved enough to think through what they have and what they want! You see Kapertnack probably have another job now if he had thought rationally about what he was doing, as a result of his cations no one will touch him with a job doing the thing he most loves! What a big sacrifices for nothing! In stead of getting better theblacks have continued to push an agenda of hate! That wii not work!

  6. These idiot spoiled football players are too dumb to realize that their stupid protest have only succeeded in hurting the NFL and their future paychecks. Advertisers only want to pay for ads where the most people are actually watching their games. They say it is about police brutality against blacks. They are so anti-cop that I wonder if they had been at the Las Vegas concert and needed help from one of those cops for them or their families would they accept it?

  7. Recommend the players buy their new sign before they run out – the cardboard sign says “NFL player – will work for food”

  8. I stand with our Vice-President. I’m glad he walked out. I hope all players that kneel needs to have a big cut in a paycheck and also benched until they can understand the true meaning of our national anthem and start standing again. They (the players) know better but the leftists will do anything if they think it will hurt our great President but believe me it’s is only hurting you more.

  9. So sick of it. Like Herschel Walker said, how many of them are leading a march, sit-in, writing campaign, inner-city philanthropic events, etc. on THEIR TIME AND DIME? Instead they capitalize on paying fans, who came to see their athletic prowess and not their political opinions and sadly the NFL has done little to stop it. How can Goodell say protestors have rights but when the Cowboys wanted to recognize fallen officers THAT was not allowed. Freedom for all or freedom for none. I’m sure there are many players being pressured into mimicking in the name of team unity. It’s disgusting already!

  10. Like POTUS said…..”…..Fire the S.O.B.!!” These “spoon fed Cry Babies” don’t know what the hell they’re talking about! And the dumb MEDIA keeps spoon feeding them. The true HERO’S of the game gave up their “lucrative contracts” to serve in the Military! Some came back…. some didn’t. Hope everyone who enjoyed (past tense) the game now will BOYCOTT the NFL. Blame the owners too. If they don’t have enough “gonads” to stand up to their employees, BOYCOTT them and their sponsors. I don’t watch football anymore, not even college football. They seem to be the “breeding ground” for dummies on the field.

  11. Really!!! Wonder who wrote his speech. He probably would not have known VP Pence was there if he had not walked out on the game. You are kneeling there, disrespecting our country, our flag and the men and women who died to help keep this country free so you can do this type of “protest”. Protest all you want but do it without disrespecting our country. Do you think you could actually live in another country anywhere in this world and show this kind of blatant respect and get away with it. Please!!! I wish everyone there would have done exactly the same thing as VP Pence did.

  12. “systemic oppression” – Yes, explain that to the Jewish people who were under bondage from “your people” down in Eygpt for 400 years. How did you treat them?

  13. Kneeling to protest is ok but leaving the game to protest is not? Hypocrisy in it purist sense, what a dingbat (and i am being kind]).
